Lawyer Referral Service
The Prince William County Bar Association operates a Lawyer Referral
Service to facilitate access to legal representation. If you need a
lawyer, simply call 703-393-2306. You will be asked a few questions
to determine the nature of your legal inquiry, and then will be referred
to an attorney who is experienced in the area of law in which you require
assistance.
There is a nominal fee of $35.00 for this referral, and the fee is
collected at the time the referral is made. The PWCBA accepts most major
credit cards, cash, and money orders. No personal checks, please. Credit
card transactions can be processed over the telephone. Those wishing
to pay cash may visit the PWCBA office, located in the Judicial Center,
(Courthouse), at 9311 Lee Avenue, Manassas, VA 20110. The PWCBA Office
is located on the third floor, next to the elevators, and is generally
open from 9 am to 1 pm, M-F. Please call for instructions on preparing
money orders.
The benefits of using the PWCBA LRS are:
- The $35.00 referral fee covers your initial consultation with the
lawyer for up to 30 minutes.
- Access to the lawyer is quick, you can make your appointment the
day you receive the referral.
- Lawyers who support the service want to help you, and will make
every effort to meet with you in a timely manner, in most cases, within
a few days.
- All PWCBA LRS lawyers are members in good standing of the PWCBA
and of the Virginia State Bar.
- All PWCBA LRS lawyers maintain professional liability insurance
- All PWCBA LRS lawyers maintain an office in Prince William County
or the Cities of Manassas or Manassas Park.

If you need legal representation and do not know a lawyer in Prince William County or the cities of Manassas or Manassas Park, the PWCBA provides a Lawyer Locator Service. The LLS is accessible through this website, and enables you to search through the membership of the PWCBA by practice area of law. Simply use the pull down menu below to generate a list of practice areas of law, and click on the topic that best describes the type of legal service you need. A listing of attorneys who practice the type of law you selected will appear. You can then click on each attorney listed to review specific information about that particular attorney, and you can make what ever selection you feel is right for you.
